WHAT A BEAUTIFUL DAY! It was sooo nice out yesterday and with all the crappy weather we have been having we knew it was time to go to our good ol park and walk the trails =] This time Oakley got to join us! I know I have turned into one of those psyco pet moms that take a million pictures of their pooch and no one really cares, but he is just so dang adorable I cant help it! (Just imagine how many photos Ill have when we have kids!!!!) Its just so fun to watch him grow in pictures and to see his personality its just too darn cute! Being that he is a hunting dog, my goodness, he was sniffing THE ENTIRE TIME on these trails! I was thinking "just enjoy this oakley!!!!" lol. But he was a good sport! When we do move back to arizona I know we will miss these kind of things to do, like walk a trail right in your backyard... I hope Im not taking it for granted! A little early Valentines day!

This year Joel had to be in the field for V-Day but we had a little mini Valentines on Sunday... Sorta... one of the most lame dinners ever lol but it was the thought that counted ;] I had to work from 6pm to 2am for the new floorset at work and Joel was getting all of his gear ready to go for monday so we basically just ate and I left lol one romantic night aye ;] For Christmas this year we got these little heart shaped pasta shells so it was only fitting to use them! 

I spent some time with my poochers and let me tell you he is too funny! He hates his toys being in the basket, always is taking them out even right when we put them in there he is immediately taking them out, doesnt even play with them really! And he took my "apology" bear from the room and just ATTACKS it. Its hilarious cause its practically bigger than he is!

When I woke up on monday morning Joel wrote me a little message on the chalkboard which made my day =] And yes Joel Ill be your Valentine ;] Got some competition though cause Oakley has been my little love bug today =]

Its in the air!

Alright, its official... I SERIOUSLY am lovinggggg Valentines day. If I could redecorate my entire place... I would... Why have I not done that already you ask? Well, honestly I think Joel would kill me... I put up the stuff in the bathroom while Joel was working one day... and literaly we havent talked about it at all! I think he hasnt said anything cause deep down he loves it but doesnt want to admit it ;] However he definitely HATES oakleys little shirt lol but I cant get enough of it! Oh well... He will wear it when Joels not around =]

Lets Do This!

Here we go. I know that we tend to say we are going to work out and then 3 days later, give ourselves that "I deserve a break" and then we fall off the horse and quit all together. But I swear I am staying motivated! I have a work out buddy and we plan out our whole week in advance. My problem was that I always said I was going to work out but never had a plan, I would just go when I felt like it... that is NOT the way to go about it!! It is a little tougher to go with the puppy now because he definitely hates being left alone in his kennel but gotta do what I gotta do! Heres the work out plan so far!

Day 1: Chest, Abs, Calves
Day 2: Legs
Day 3: Cardio
Day 4: Back and Shoulders
Day 5: Biceps and Triceps
Day 6: STRETCH
Day 7: Cardio

Trip to Charlotte

This weekend was a really great weekend! First of all my dad and Maria were able to come out and visit Joel and I!! It was really nice to show them around and see our place. Not that Jacksonville has much to offer... It was still good to see them =] I truly am the definition of a daddy's girl so seeing my dad was awesome =] They also were able to meet our newest edition Oakley! Even though he can be a little pain in the butt, my dad and maria fell in love with him ;] Of course Oakley loved them too! My little lover =] On Sunday, we all drove out to Charlotte to see some of my family. Joel has been going to a school for this machine gunners leaders course and we werent sure if he was going to make it because he had alot of homework to do but everything worked out and he was headed out there with us! It was great to have him around my family for a change, almost weird! Since family has always been so far away we never get to spend time with them, but this weekend was nice to have him be one with the fam ;] We got there and of course, started up a ping pong game =] and played "shut the box" which by the way.... I was the very first AND very second person to shut the box... call me Einstein if you must ;] The trip was short lived but still very worth the LONG drive! As soon as we got home I had to go to work which let me tell you was rough after a 5 hour road trip. I wish I had a picture of our little Oakley when we picked him up from our friends house, he was a CHUNK! lol spoiled little thing ate so much food he was bloated and constipated lol maybe that will teach him "everything in moderation" he needs to learn from his bff melvin! I havent been much of a picture taker lately but here are a few =]

Cupcake Fail.

Tanya came over today with her little munchkin to do this gourmet baking extravaganza! Well unfortunately there was nothing extravagant about what we made. Quite pathetic actually ;] Its so funny though, because once all the added distractions come into play its tough to focus on one thing! Between Oakley running around getting into trouble, miss Jennifer getting fussy AND me wanting to just love on her the whole time, we were so over the cupcakes lol. Im so glad I have such a great friend, I love laughing and having a good time even with chaos of a dog that wants to get into everything lol. Many, many more memories to come!
